Former Norwegian PM Thorbjorn Jagland Charged with Gross Corruption Over Epstein Links
Former Norwegian Prime Minister Thorbjorn Jagland is presently in deep legal trouble after he was charged with gross corruption of a relationship with the deceased American sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. After the lapse of diplomatic immunity against Jagland by the Council of Europe, various premises of the former premier were raided by authorities to investigate allegations of Epstein’s payments for Jagland’s expensive family vacations between 2011 to 2018. Records from leaked government documents reveal that Jagland had planned several visits to Epstein’s residences, even attempting to secure funding for a bank loan from him. Despite this, Jagland claims innocence to any criminal activities. Such instances of Jagland highlight a much larger scandal in Norway, with many other prominent people, such as royalty, being accused of criminal activities during relationships.
